Why Get Married in Cornwall?
Cornwall is one of the most magical places in the UK to get married. With its wild coastline, sandy beaches, fishing harbours, moorland, woodlands and historic estates, it offers an incredible variety of backdrops for your wedding day.
Couples choose Cornwall for:
- World-class beaches and coves – perfect for barefoot ceremonies and golden-hour portraits.
- Dramatic coastal cliffs and headlands – ideal if you love big skies and cinematic landscapes.
- Rustic barns and farm venues – relaxed, rural spaces surrounded by fields and woodland.
- Country houses, castles and estates – for timeless elegance and weekend-long celebrations.
Whether you’re planning a beach wedding in Newquay, a barn wedding on Bodmin Moor or a castle celebration overlooking the sea, Cornwall is an incredible canvas for wedding photography.
For a wedding photographer, it’s magic.

Natural, Relaxed Wedding Photography in Cornwall
As your Cornwall wedding photographer, my aim is simple: to tell the story of your day in an honest, beautiful and stress-free way.
I work in a mostly documentary style – quietly capturing:
- Morning preparations and those emotional first looks
- The build-up to your ceremony and the moment you say “I do”
- Confetti, hugs and celebrations with family and friends
- Speeches, reactions and all the little details you’ve chosen
- Evening energy – from sunset right through to dance-floor chaos
Then, when the light is right (often just before sunset), we’ll take a short walk away from the crowd for some relaxed couple portraits. No stiff poses – just the two of you, together, with a few simple prompts so it still feels like you.
You enjoy your Cornwall wedding.
I quietly take care of the memories.

Bella & Gianni
Crowcombe COURT wedding in Somerset
“An incredibly skilled photographer, Paul exceeded expectations for our wedding. His role extended beyond merely capturing photos; he actively orchestrated the day, even quelling my unexpected morning anxiety.
The day after the wedding, we received snapshot photos. To say we are pleased would be a complete understatement. These photos surpassed our expectations, brimming with enchantment and originality. I cannot stress enough how much Paul put everyone at ease whilst still managing to organise photos at a particularly sizable wedding.
Paul remained inconspicuous throughout the day, and the timeless, remarkable photos stand as a testament to his expertise and experience.
I wholeheartedly recommend entrusting Paul with creative control, allowing him to perform his magic.”

Planning a Destination Wedding in 2026, 2027 or 2028?
Travelling more than 100 miles of travel from where the bride and groom reside is deemed as a destination wedding. But flying abroad to tie the knot is my kind of elopement!
As you plan your two becoming one day for 2026 or 2027, it’s essential to consider the logistics of your celebration. Start by researching venues that align with your vision and budget. It’s advisable to visit potential locations in advance to get a feel for the ambiance and services offered. I’m always amazed by the times I’m told that it’s the couple’s first ever visit to their chosen location. Additionally, consider hiring local vendors, including an award winning photographer like myself, one who is familiar with the area and who can provide valuable insights. Planning ahead will ensure that your weddings are seamless and stress-free, allowing you to focus on celebrating your love.
“I was a very nervous bride and he made me feel completely at ease.“
