Getting Ready for your Crowcombe Court Wedding
One of the most exciting times of your wedding day is the bridal preparations. The nervous anticipation of the day ahead. The day you’ve spent countless hours planning and today, you FINALLY marry the love of your life!!!
Eeek! Crowcombe court has a beautiful getting ready room where you and your bridesmaids can relax in the morning and maybe celebrate the day ahead with a cheeky prosecco (or two!) It’s a spacious room with a very comfortable sofa (trust me I know!) and make up stations so all the girls can get ready at the same time.
The guys can put their suits on in the gallery room and shoot a game of pool.

Crowcombe Court is licensed for civil ceremonies in the Great Hall (my personal favourite) or if you are having an intimate wedding, the Carew room is perfect.
I always love photographing the moment the bride walks down the aisle and capturing the reaction of the groom. All with your closest friends and family nearby for close support.
Fun Wedding Photos at Crowcombe Court
I’m well known within the wedding photography industry for having a laid back attitude. Whilst I take my job very seriously, I also believe it’s possible to have fun on the day too. My wedding photos are all about capturing not only beautiful portraits but some fun ones too. After all, who wants to stand in a line all day whilst the wedding photographer says “Say Cheese!” Not me!
Great ideas for stunning wedding photos at Crowcombe Court
I always recommend using the stairs outside for the traditional confetti photos. As your wedding photographer I organise your guests to stand in a tunnel as you walk through being blasted with confetti!
Another wicked idea, especially for winter weddings would be to buy sparklers and have a sparkler send off. This is an American wedding tradition that has become popular in the UK thanks to Pinterest and social media. It does make for superb photos and as an experienced wedding photographer, I’ve got the expertise to light the photos so despite the dark, the images will still look amazing!
For extra bonus points, get the groom to dip you.
Another great idea is to get some bubble guns from Amazon UK. These make for a great alternative to confetti photos and at the same time are fun to use for couples photos too! They’re very inexpensive and you can have so much fun with them. Well I certainly do!
