Clevedon Hall Wedding | Kia & Daniel
Updated: Sep 27
Kia and Daniel’s wedding was at Clevedon Hall in North Somerset. The house and surroundings were beautiful and the weather for most of the day was warm and dry. Kia was very relaxed – possibly helped by the cocktail ‘sex on the beach!’ Her mum gave her a beautiful array of old, new, borrowed and blue gifts and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when she opened these.
The boys were quietly getting ready and seemed very calm and composed. There was a moment when no one knew how to do buttonholes, but they were rescued by one of the venue’s staff!
Luckily as the weather stayed dry, the ceremony went ahead outside with a small gathering of family and friends. It was lovely to be able to shoot an outside wedding where masks didn’t need to be worn and you could see everyone's emotions. Kia was a stunning bride and as she walked towards Daniel you could see that he was overcome with emotion.
Once they were married I took them for an intimate photoshoot around the grounds, followed by group photos. As the day continued, the weather changed and we had some rain, but they didn’t let this ruin their day and we got a couple of rainy shots.
Due to covid, they had changed their wedding date several times, having to reduce guest numbers and even had to change their venue through no fault of their own. This was a blessing in disguise as Clevedon Hall was by far superior and their day was a huge success.
Thank you Kia and Daniel for choosing Paul Aston photography. I had a wonderful day, thanks for being so relaxed and friendly. I wish you much love and happiness for the next chapter of your lives.
